the result

The homes on School Street sold out at above market pricing in the worst housing market in recent history. It was based on the belief that homes are the umtimate consumer product & developing a "How Do You Live" mass-customization approach that consumers loved.

the story

The School Street project received major media coverage based on its consumer focused, "How Do You Live" approach & the fact the homes were selling off the shelf during the housing crisis. Media coverage included The Wall Street Journal, The Today Show, PBS Nightly Business Report, Fortune Magazine, WSJ Market Watch & The Washington Post.

Of note, a senior journalist for The Washington Post lived with one of the School Street customers for 3 days & wrote about her experience.
